Are you too BUSY for Zoo Zoo..Cmon!

Adorable Vodafone Zoozoo Ad - All in One

Here is some TRIVIA about Zoo Zoos:

  • The ads were created by Ogilvy & Mather, an international advertising, marketing, and public relations agency
  • Vodafone decided to produce a series of films so that IPL viewers do’nt get bored of the same ad being shown during matches
  • They made 30 ad films, 13 of which are on the air and the entire shoots were in Cape Town, South Africa
  • O & M spent Rs. 2.5 billion for making the ZooZoo ads
  • Bangalore based Nirvana Films shot the ads at 20 frames per second, to make Zoozoo’s movements hurried and comical
  • Prakash Varma, owner and director, Nirvana Films, took three weeks of pre-production days to conceptualize the whole ad film
  • The characters you see on the screen are real people (slim women & kids): dancers dressed in white suits and wearing huge head gears
  • To make the characters look small, a large sized set was built
  • Artists couldn’t see through the head gear, and so they often walked out of the camera frame
  • The expressions on ZooZoos faces are made of rubber and pasted on the heads before shoot
  • A hard material called Perspex was used to build the heads
